This is my most popular picture! How cool is that? I’m trying to think of exciting new crowns to make as I type. A lot has happened since last year! I’m now married, an expectant mum and I’ve got my own online shop on Folksy!

Well, by that I mean a crazy number of hits on my Baroque Bridal Crown. I can’t quite believe it, but I did promise myself that I’d go back to SparklyPaws should I reach 1,000 hits on Flickr. And now a year later, it seems that I’ve got 937 hits on one piece alone!

I’ve been hard at work, newly inspired, and trying new designs. I’ll be uploading soon so stay tuned!

I’m so happy! I’m going to be crafty in every waking non-working minute! My other half is despairing cos of the mess I’ve made of the dining table with all my new beads, but I think he gets that this is important to me! He’s great really. Right, now where did I put those amazonite rondelles…

It all starts here!

I’ve finally got my act together and am going to inflict my craftiness on the world! Yup, I’ve been hit by the jewellery-making bug and, while it’s hugely enjoyable, I need to start selling stuff now! Mainly, so I can go into bead shops, go “Oooh, shiny,” and have money to buy supplies. Watch this space, cos I’ll be coming at ya soon.

No doubt it’ll be such a soft launch you’ll hardly notice, but still, here I go!
